CPR Certification and Training

Basic Life Support Class (BLS) is designed for healthcare professionals and students entering a healthcare related programs.  We teach you the skills and knowledge needed to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies. Adult & infant CPR/AED is covered as well as choking relief. 

Price: $60 (student workbook must be purchased separately)

The BLS CPR skills only session allows flexibility in learning and scheduling. This allows students to spend less time in-person. Students must complete the online portion prior to in-person skills session.  The on-line portion is purchased separately. You must bring the certificate of completion from the online portion with you to the skills session. You will receive an e-card after the skills session.

Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements.  Participants learn to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Become a certified CPR instructor with our comprehensive training program. We provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to teach others life-saving techniques. The cost includes TC affiliation, instructor course fee, BLS Essentials Online Class, mentoring & monitoring.  This is a one day course that lasts approximately 7 hours. Pre-requisites: you must have a current AHA BLS provider card & be 18+ years of age. Contact our office if would like more information or to inquire about other training dates not shown.

 Safe Sitter® was created to teach children 11 and older how to be better, safer babysitters. Safe Sitter® babysitters help children stay safe and sound while their parents are away. In the process, the students emerge as more confident, responsible, and compassionate teens and adults. For more than 35 years, Safe Sitter® has been a leader in providing life skills, safety skills, and child care training for youth. A national nonprofit organization, Safe Sitter® helps to build safer communities by providing youth with the skills they need to be safe while home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. 

During this one-day course, students learn an array of topics that include:

Safety Skills:

Indoor safety, outdoor safety, online safety, and personal safety.

Child Care Skills:

Child development, child care routines (including diapering practice), and behavior management.

First Aid & Rescue Skills:

Injury prevention, injury management, choking rescue and hands-only CPR.

Life & Business Skills:

Screening jobs, setting fees, and greeting employers.

Snacks, hand book,  certificate of completion included with course $75 course fee.

Price:  $75 ( does not include CPR card)

*CPR card is an additional cost

We also offer classes for those that don't need a certification but want to learn CPR. These classes are targeted to families and new parents. Will travel for groups of 6.
